Elmgrove Extra Club
The Elmgrove Extra Club is both a breakfast and after school care facility that caters for a maximum of thirty children between the ages of four to eleven years who attend Elmgrove Primary School. The club is located within the school site.
Breakfast club starts at 7.45 a.m. and ends when school begins at 8.50 a.m. On arrival children are given a breakfast and or light refreshments. They can then choose to participate from a variety of activities that we supply. These are planned to stimulate children’s development and meet their individual needs. On arrival parents must escort their children into the club and sign them in. When the school day starts children will be taken by a member of staff to their classrooms.
After School Club
After School Club starts at 3.10 p.m. and ends promptly at 5.45 p.m. Reception, year 1 and year 2 children will be collected by our staff from their classroom teachers and escorted to the club which is held in the area adjacent to the Key stage 1 assembly hall. Children from classes in year 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be met by a member of staff in the appointed area on the front playground and escorted to the club.
Activities are varied and we use both the indoor and outdoor areas. We plan activities for:
