School Council

At Elmgrove Primary School and Nursery our children are at the heart of everything we do. We believe in pupil voice and involving them in key matters related to our school. Our School Council is key to this and every year one pupil is elected to represent each class.
Meetings are held on a regular basis and facilitated by members of the Leadership Team.

The School Council work with our children, staff, parents and governors to support the school ethos, the achievement of the targets on the School Development Plan and to co-ordinate fundraising for the school and local and national charities. Following the meetings, the School Council members discuss issues raised with their classes and everyone’s voice and opinion is heard and valued.

Last year they worked hard on compiling a list of 50 things for children to accomplish by the time a child leaves Elmgrove School in Year 6. We strive to make these happen by planning exciting opportunities for all children throughout their primary journey.

Take a look at the list and see which ones you like the look of best!
