Elmgrove is excited to announce that we will be celebrating International Day on Friday, 21st March. On this special day, children are encouraged to wear clothing that reflects their tradition and ethnic heritage. This event provides an opportunity for pupils to celebrate and share aspects of their cultural heritage while learning more about the diverse identities within our community.

We kindly ask for a £1 donation, which will go to UNICEF to support children in need around the world.

The aims of International Day are to foster understanding, respect, and appreciation for the many cultures, ethnicities, traditions, and beliefs within our school and local community.

In preparation for the day, a recipe template will be emailed out on 12th February. We encourage you and your child to complete it and email it back by 3rd March. These contributions will help us create Elmgrove’s very own Cultural Cookbook, which will be compiled electronically and shared with everyone to enjoy.
