We are in the new building!

After nearly 5 years of planning and 2 years 2 months in our temporary home we are finally in our new building! We did it! It is absolutely stunning. The half-term move was relatively painless, and this was due to the hard work and dedication of our staff team but especially the site team, Liz Hare our Acting Site Manager, John Blackwood our caretaker, our ICT Apprentice Thomas Campbell and our School Business Manager Cherise Cronk. They have been working tirelessly to ensure that the school was ready with equipment, furniture, phone lines, internet and everything that pupils needed to start learning on Wednesday morning straight away. We would like to give them a huge round of thanks for everything they have done for our pupils. A big thank you also to the rest of the staff who have been frantically packing and unpacking to ensure classrooms look shipshape! We hope the children have told you about their new classrooms and parents will have the opportunity to have a tour around the school on Wednesday 16th November we will give you more details next week.

We know that the entrances have changed and hope that you are now aware of how to get into the school at the beginning and end of the day. Please remember that no parents should come into the school building through any door other that the main office as this is a safeguarding risk and so if you need to come into school to discuss something with a staff member this should be through the main office.

Punctuality is key to being successful in school. The school gates open at 8.35am and will close promptly at 8.45am, please allow time to get drop children off remember KS2 pupils can be dropped at the gates and encouraged to make their own way round.

Thank you for all your support whilst the building work has taken place.
