About Us

Welcome to Elmgrove

Our school sits close to central Harrow in a peaceful residential area beside Kenton Park. We are very proud of our brand‑new, purpose‑built school building, completed through the DfE Priority School Building Project and opened in November 2022. Our modern, spacious classrooms and bright learning spaces help every child feel comfortable, confident and ready to learn.

Elmgrove is also one of Harrow Council’s additionally resourced primary schools for children with physical disabilities. These pupils are fully included in every aspect of school life and play an important part in our warm, caring and inclusive community.

At Elmgrove, we believe in inspiring and nurturing lifelong learners. Our aim is for every child to achieve, thrive, and develop a strong sense of belonging as proud Elmgrovians. We work hard to make sure children feel safe, valued and connected, because we know they learn best when they feel known and respected.

Through high‑quality teaching and rich, meaningful experiences, we support children to grow not only academically, but also socially and emotionally. We encourage confidence, resilience and independence, helping every pupil to become a well‑prepared, positive and responsible young citizen.

When children leave Elmgrove, it is our hope is that they do so as proud Elmgrovians — confident, curious and ready to make a positive contribution to the world around them.

Our Golden Values are an important part of what makes our school special:

Kindness, Respect, Responsibility and Commitment

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.  Whether you are interested in joining our team or a parent looking for a school place we would encourage you to come and visit us and see how special our school is for yourselves.
